About LTMRC

The Life Through Movement Regional Conference (LTMRC) 2026 is a national series of one-day health and medical conferences hosted by the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA). Each event offers a platform for collaboration, learning, and innovation, bringing together healthcare professionals who share a commitment to helping individuals and communities thrive through movement.

Taking place across nine provinces throughout 2026, the conferences will unite over 750 delegates nationwide, including Biokineticists, Medical Specialists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, General Practitioners, Dietitians, and other allied health professionals.

Theme

Under the theme “Thrive,” LTMRC will explore how movement, science, and technology intersect to improve health outcomes and elevate the practice of physical rehabilitation in South Africa.

Sessions will feature leading voices in healthcare, technology, sports science, and rehabilitation, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration and the sharing of evidence-based practices.

At its core, LTMRC 2026 reflects BASA’s mission to foster synergy within healthcare, empowering professionals to build stronger networks, share knowledge, and grow together as a collective force for health and wellbeing.
